The tool bars bring social and third party data from across the Toshiba cloud into one user centric environment.
Toshiba have an excellent online presence across multiple sites, platforms, social networks, and third party resources. However this led to a convoluted user journey when jumping between platforms.
After several brainstorming sessions, it was proposed to bring all social activity within the main corporate and product sites but this needed to be done without interfering with core functionality. The social tool bar was a mashup of multiple social sources with the ability to be easily installed on any of the various Toshiba sites, giving the consumer a central place for all user and Toshiba generated content from across the web.
